The Woodlands is a stylish contemporary hotel and restaurant set in beautiful landscaped grounds.
There are 18 individually designed bedrooms and a popular restaurant, awarded ‘Best Fine Dining Restaurant 2005’ and ‘Best Use of Local Produce 2006’ by the Leeds Restaurant Association).
The Woodlands also has a sophisticated bar and a range of beautiful bespoke meeting rooms and private dining rooms.
The hotel is only 3 miles from the vibrant, cosmopolitan city centre of Leeds, with its superb nightlife, unrivalled shopping and easy access to all motorway links.
The entire building can be hired for exclusive-use parties and celebrations and, whether you visit with friends and colleagues or arrive alone, you will enjoy the chic yet comfortable atmosphere of this excellent luxury hotel.
Please note that from time to time the Woodlands Hotel hosts events and weddings (usually on Friday and Saturday nights) when entertainment and music can play until midnight. If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

The restaurant and private dining rooms are all finished in crisp, cool, contemporary white, with high ceilings, original Victorian cornices and fireplaces, wooden floors, dark leather dining chairs and bright oil paintings. This all comes together to provide diners with a casual, contemporary feel. The style of food has its foundation in traditional and modern British favourites influenced by the cultures and cooking of many countries. There is a focus on fresh ingredients and regional seasonal produce.
The restaurant is very popular, especially at weekends. It is advisable to pre-book a table for dinner. To avoid disappointment, please call the hotel prior to your arrival to book a table.
